HOW TO - Upload a File
- Place your cursor where you would like to attach the file
- Click 'Attach File' in the edit bar
- Select the file
- Click upload
- Once the file apears, click OK
You can upload PDFs, Word docs, and even Powerpoint Presentations.
HOW TO - Insert an Image
- Place your cursor where you would like to insert the image
- Click 'Insert Image' in the edit bar
- Select the image
- Click upload
- Once the image appears, click OK
HOW TO - Create links
- Highlight the word you would like to link to a page/folder/webpage
- Click on the link button in the Edit bar
- Choose what link you want to create: Page, Folder, URL (webpage) or email
- Find the page or enter in the information (paste in the URL or email)
- Click ok
- You will see that the highlighted word is now hyperlinked!
- Once you click save you will be able to click the hyperlink and check if it works.
HOW TO - Add a Footnote
- Copy the URL or reference of where you found the information you wish to cite
- Place cursor following the sentence/paragraph that you are paraphrazing
- Click Insert Plugin
- Click PBMagic
- Go to Footnotes
- Paste the reference in the box
- Click Preview and OK
- You will see a funky little green thing which is normal!
- Click Save and you will see and number where you put your cursor that is link to the reference at the bottom of the page.
HOW TO - Insert a Google Gadget
- Find a google gadget of your choice at: Google Gadgets
- Follow the steps and copy the code for the gadget
- Put your cursor where you want the gadget to be
- Click Insert Plugin, productivity, any google gadget
- Paste in the code
- Click Preview, ok
- Save! You should see the gadget on your page!
